Amman – The Arab-African Economic Forum will take place on Wednesday (27) and Thursday (28) in Amman, Jordan. The event is organized by the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries and by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce.
Jordan’s news outlet Petra said the forum should be attended by over 500 delegates from 53 different countries, including the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce’s president Rubens Hannun, International Relations vice president Osmar Chohfi and special advisor to the president Tamer Mansour.
Petra also said discussions will address opportunities to boost trade, investments and economic cooperation among Arab and African countries. The Forum was created during the 4th Africa-Arab Summit last year in Equatorial Guinea.
According to Petra, the event will be attended by delegates from transportation and logistics companies, exporters and importers, financial institutions and investment promotion agencies, among other companies, as well as economists and other professionals.
Apart from attending the Forum, the Arab Brazilian Chamber executives will sit down for meetings with government officials and private sector players in Jordan throughout the week.
