Nine Lebanese athletes to compete in the Olympics

They will participate in several events during the Rio 2016 Olympics. The Consulate General of Lebanon in Brazil is calling on the community to bring the national flag to the competition.

São Paulo – Nine athletes from Lebanon will be competing in different events at the Rio 2016 Olympics: Ray Bassil (shooting), Elias Nassif (judo – men’s, 81 kg), Mariana Sahakyan (table tennis), Richard Merjan (canoe slalom), Mona Shaito (fencing), Chirine Njeim (marathon), Ahmad Hazer (athletics -110 meter hurdles), Anthony Barbar and Gabriella Douaihy (both in swimming).
