Petrobras oil output a record

The company produced 2.9 million barrels of oil equivalent in June. Its previous all-time high had been in August of last year.
Rio de Janeiro – Brazil’s state-run oil company Petrobras achieved an all-time high average output in June, at 2.9 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed, a measure that comprises oil and gas production). The previous record was 2.88 million boed in August 2015.
Petrobras said this Monday (11) that production in June was a 2% increase over 2.83 million boed in May. Out of the 2.9 million boed average in June, 2.7 million boed were produced in domestic fields and 200,000 million boed concern production in foreign countries. Oil-only production reached 2.3 million boed in June, up 2% from 2.24 million boed in May.
