Brazil mourns EgyptAir crash

The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Relations issued a statement extending its condolences to the victims’ families and to the Egyptian government.

Brasília – The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Relations released a statement this Friday (20th) asserting that “the Brazilian government has become aware, with deep regret, of the Egyptair flight MS804 crash, which claimed the lives of 66 people, mostly Egyptian citizens.”

The statement adds that “Brazil extends its solidarity and its condolences to the victims’ families and to the governments of Egypt and of other countries whose nationals were among the victims,”

The Airbus A320 jet crashed into the Mediterranean Sea last Thursday while flying from Paris to Cairo.
