Brazilian companies have gone to Beautyworld Middle East, a hygiene, perfume and cosmetics fair in the United Arab Emirates. They hope to close deals as a result of contacts made in the Arab country.
São Paulo – The 21st Beautyworld Middle East expo ended this Tuesday (17th) in Dubai and should lead to USD 13.2 million worth of deals for Brazilian exhibitors from the personal hygiene, perfume and cosmetics industries. Such is the combined value of deals expected to come to fruition in the next 12 months as a result of 1,294 contacts made at the three-day fair.
A group of 25 companies attended the event under the Beautycare Brazil project of the Brazilian Toiletry, Perfume and Cosmetics Industries Association (Abihpec) and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). Deals closed during the three days of the event were worth a combined USD 2.6 million.
“This is the region’s most respected trade show, so we are pleased with the results our companies have achieved, and even more so in knowing that each and every one of them plans on returning in 2017,” said Beautycare Brazil project manager Gueisa Silvério in a press release.
