Petrobras output increased in May

Rio de Janeiro – Petrobras’ total oil and gas output increased 5% in May over April, totaling 2.83 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. When compared to May of last year, output increased 2%. The data was released this Wednesday (8) by the company.
Average oil output reached 2.24 million barrels per day, a result 6% higher than April and 1% higher than May 2015. Abroad, the company produced 190,000 barrels of oil equivalent (oil and natural gas). In Brazil, the monthly average output was the fifth highest ever registered by the company.
