Project of visa exemption to UAE moves forward

São Paulo – The Commission of Foreign Affairs and National Defense (CRE) approved this Thursday (23) an agreement which Brazil and the UAE signed for the reciprocal issuance of visas. The measure is for holders of regular passports.
The project’s proponent was senator Lasier Martins (PSD-RS). Now the agreement should move on for discussion on the Senate’s floor.
According to information from the Senate’s news website, the project allows nationals from both countries to enter, exit and transit through the territory of the other country without a visa, for business or tourism, up to 90 every 12-month period.
